Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on November 24 in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, as well as hosting a TV show on MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show in order to start their own project, titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-hosting alongside Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has been a guest on Fox News, CNN, Fox News, Fox News, Fox News, as well as programs like Real Time With Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her further fascination with politics to her experience after becoming pregnant during the 2008 primaries and also watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She witnessed the impact that it had on the citizens of her home country and was inspired to understand the international impact of US politics. She was a senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st District of the Congressional Congress in 2010, losing to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 15, 2015. In May of 2017, she founded the People's House Project, a political action committee that works for Democratic causes.
